Raimon Panikkar (Barcelona, 1918–Tavertet, 2010) es uno de los representantes más destacados del pensamiento intercultural y el diálogo interreligioso. Al final de su vida emprendió la tarea de seleccionar y organizar temáticamente su profusa obra, publicada en varios idiomas.

Como recapitulación de la problemática, en la Tercera parte se introduce una visión más amplia llamada Trinidad radical, es decir, la visión cosmoteándrica, descrita primero en su aspecto general y luego en su forma de espiritualidad.
